Using only paper and a craft knife, authentic first-person accounts, and a vintage Soviet Super 8 camera, Montana underground filmmaker Andy Smetanka brings the shared experience of WWI American troops to life. A stop-motion animated oral history of the "Doughboys" depicted in eerie, flickering silhouette.
