Filmmaker David Ruck will be in attendance for the panel/Q&A following The Erie Situation. He is a video storyteller with a passion for science whose work has taken him all over the world: “I’ve told the stories of conservationists, aspiring astronauts, front-porch philosophers, underprivileged families in Baltimore, native Americans on the Olympic Peninsula, and shipwreck hunters of the Great Lakes.” He is also a NOAA diver, videographer, and underwater cinematographer who is home-based in Muskegon, Michigan, and currently at work on a book about video storytelling.
