Finn Ryan, 2017

In 1965, commercial fisherman William "Boyzie" Jondreau was arrested for being in possession of four fish out of season. As a concerned member of the Keweenaw Bay Community of the Lake Superior Ojibwe, he fought back, attempting to preserve cultural heritage and tribal rights. His grandson, Jerry Jondreau, reflects on that legacy in this personal and political tale of treaty rights and family values.
Screening with Sami Blood.
