Logan Kibens, 2016

Martin Starr ("Silicon Valley") and Mae Whitman ("Parenthood") play Joe and Emily, a young married couple whose relationship is tested when technology begins to encroach on reality. Under pressure to find the perfect voice for a new automated healthcare answering system, Joe discovers that Emily has what he needs. Problems arise as Joe becomes increasingly dissatisfied with the real Emily and infatuated with his programmed version of her. Winner of the Traverse City Film Festival's Roger Ebert Prize for Best US Documentary by a First Time Filmmaker.
