Green Bank, West Virginia, is home to the world’s largest fully steerable radio telescope. Through intimate portraits, Small Town Universe explores the scientific and human impact of the observatory and the unique community it has fostered. A Q&A will follow this film with filmmaker, Katie Dellamaggiore, Dr. Petra Huentemeyer, and Dr. Kathy Halvorsen. Co-sponsored by the Vice President for Research Office.

VENUE

All events are free and open to the public. The festival will be held in the Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts on the Michigan Tech campus, with additional films hosted by MTU Film Board in Fisher 135.
