Bram Conjaerts, 2013

A interesting companion piece to Particle Fever, The Circle offers us a more philosophical perspective from above ground. The Large Hadron Collider spans the border between Switzerland and France about 100 meters underground. Leaving behind the scientific aspect of the experiment, director Bram Conjaerts talks with people who live above ground along its 27 kilometer path. The film explores what people think about a project of this colossal scale and the human desire to discover the origins of life. Country: Belgium (with subtitles)
