The Short Cut

“The Short Cut” Theater will be on the North Mezzanine of the Rozsa on Saturday and Sunday of the festival. There will be a continuous loop of short films, as well as some VR programming for you to explore and enjoy. Feel free to pop in for a quick 10-minute adventure or stay for more.

2017 Student Academy-Award Winning Films

Enjoy animated, narrative, documentary, and alternative genre shorts from this year’s medalists, along with an assortment of other short films.

VR (Oculus 360)

This Is What the Future Looked Like
Sam Green and Gary Hustwit (2017, 7 min.). Green and Hustwit take us on an exploration of Buckminster Fuller and his signature creation—the geodesic dome—in this meditation on design, the utopian impulse, and the virtual reality form itself.

Also Playing

10:30 a.m. Saturday.  TV pilot, A Hitch List, with its director Kyle Thornton (BBA, ’10) in attendance.
