Kate Narkter, 2025

Created frame by frame from over 500 feet of woven fabric, this six minute animated short reimagines the mysterious disappearance of the filmmaker's great-great-great-great-grandmother. Traditional craft meets contemporary storytelling to explore memory, heritage, and the enduring connection between cloth and narrative.

Screens as part of Shorts Program #2: Connections.
